About this Workshop
Take your sculptural needle felting to the next level with this 3D mushroom workshop. Participants will develop and refine their felting techniques by learning to use density for sculpting wool. This workshop will teach participants how to needle felt an enchanting, well felted mushroom. Elise will guide participants through sculpting a strong core, colour blending, adding detail, depth, and how to achieve a smooth finish.
Elise will discuss wool breeds and preferred preparation for needle felting, as well as explain the various needle shapes, sizes, and felting surfaces. She will share her strategies for sculpting 3D realistic or whimsically designed mushrooms - the choice is yours! This workshop is beginner friendly and ideal for those who have some needle felting experience wanting to upgrade their skills and presentation.
