TRY IT: Block Printing Textiles

This workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of relief block printing on fabric using Speedball block printing inks. Participants will design, carve, and print their own reusable stamp to create custom textiles such as T-shirts, tote bags, pillowcases, tea towels, or other fabric items of their choice.

The workshop covers the complete printing process, from developing an image to transferring it onto carving material, safely carving the block, testing prints on paper, and producing a finished textile print. Students may draw their own design or bring printed reference images to trace. Great for illustrators but accessible for all!
