About the Course:

Participants will learn the fundamentals of working with clay while creating a small hand-built plant pot using slab construction techniques. The workshop will cover rolling and preparing slabs, building and joining forms, creating drainage holes, and refining surfaces. Students will also explore simple surface decoration techniques using coloured slips to personalize their planter before it is fired.
